"CHROISM" combines "chrome" and "ism." It fuses the Japanese word "kuro," meaning black, with "chrome," which signifies color in Greek, and "ism," reflecting a broad aesthetic in the arts. This term embodies a "black aesthetic" or a "philosophy of color," capturing my unique vision of beauty and artistic thought.

I find that expressions of sadness or loneliness reveal deeper layers of a character's background and humanity compared to expressions of happiness. These poignant emotions have a powerful allure, encouraging viewers to explore the more profound aspects of the figures I portray.

In a world saturated with colorful and complex art, there's often a perception that art must be formal and difficult. My goal is to challenge this by creating works that are both simple and artistically rich. CHROISMの由来は、chrome+ism。
私が使う画材の色である（クロ）という日本語の発音、そしてギリシャ語で色を意味するchromeと芸術の分野において広義の意味での美学を示す ismを合わせた造語です。
この言葉が意味するのは「黒の美学」や「色の哲学」という私なりの芸術における美しさや考え方を示したものになります。

　ー私が悲しい表情の人物の絵を描く理由ー
それは幸せや喜びを浮かべる表情よりも、悲しみや寂しさという表情が、描かれる人物の背景や人間性の深い部分をより想像させる魅力をひめていると思っているからです。

　ーなぜ黒い画材だけで絵を描くのかー
様々な色や工夫を凝らしたアートでありふれる今の世の中、アートは格式高く難しい物という声をよく耳にします。
私はそんな概念を打ち壊し最もシンプルかつ芸術性に富んだそんな作品を生み出していきます。
